By harnessing their professional and social networks, ScienceAbroad aims to advance scientific achievements, strengthen the identity of Israeli scientists living overseas, and facilitate the return of talented individuals to Israel. With over 11,000 members and 70 branches worldwide, ScienceAbroad is run by volunteer scientists who dedicate their time and expertise to the organization.

Job Description:

ScienceAbroad is seeking a talented Recruitment and Placement Director to join our team and lead the process of placing Israeli scientists in academia and industry. The role involves managing all stages of the process, from identifying and recruiting clients to sourcing candidates and successful placement. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to understand our client's needs and match them with the right talent.

Responsibilities:

• Establishing connections with potential clients: Identifying and reaching out to Israeli companies and engaging new clients.
• Sourcing, screening, and interviewing potential candidates according to client needs.
• Collaborating with company clients to understand their requirements and the ideal candidate profile.
• Managing the recruitment process from start to finish, including scheduling meetings, conducting background checks, and making recommendations to clients.
• Building and maintaining relationships with potential candidates to create a high-quality talent pool.
• Working with internal teams to optimize recruitment processes and improve efficiency.
• Conducting regular evaluations of recruitment processes and generating performance and outcome reports.
• Preparing regular monitoring and control reports.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in recruitment is a significant advantage.
• In-depth understanding of the job market and various professional fields.
• Ability to analyze and understand client requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and negotiation abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to work long hours and availability to work in different time zones.
• Familiarity with the STEM industry – an advantage.
• Full proficiency in Hebrew and English – an advantage.
