Python Developer

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Python Developer to join our team!

Role Overview:

• Responsible for designing, and developing features from scratch using the latest technologies and frameworks
• Work closely with the Team Leader, other Devs, Product Managers, and Data Analysts, to ensure the final product meets our high-quality standards
• Provide technical leadership and set an example for other team members
• Build and refactor code to create reusable libraries for future use
• Gather and address technical and design requirements
• Troubleshoot and debug applications and solve complex software issues
• Develop, document, and maintain the test strategy and test scenarios
• Brainstorm feature design, system architecture, and troubleshooting
• Take full ownership of the technology stack, including infrastructure and production readiness of key systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proficiency in Python with over 4 years of experience, or 2 years of experience in Python combined with an additional 2+ years in any object-oriented programming language
• Over 2 years of experience in a production environment
• Experience with agile methodologies and proficiency in product management tools like Jira, Monday, Trello, etc.
• Well-versed in design patterns
• Skilled in Python packages such as Numpy, Pandas, etc.
• Proven track record of writing clean, maintainable, and testable code and leading others to do the same
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• High proficiency in English
• Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills

Advantages:

• Proficiency with regex
• Knowledge of PyTorch and AI
• Experience with NoSQL databases e.g. MongoDB
• Understanding and experience with data lakes and data warehouses in the AWS Cloud
• Experience with Python testing and debugging tools such as PyTest, etc.
• Working experience with CI/CD pipelines to deliver frequent high-quality features
• Experience with one or more data orchestration tools and MLOps
• Experience in the Pharma industry

Weekly day range: Sunday to Thursday
