Payroll Controller

Description

About the Role

• Prepare and manage the company's payroll in Israel in an accurate and timely manner, in line with the HQ calendar cut-off dates
• Collect and update data in the payroll system
• Act as the point of reference for employees’ payroll-related queries
• Headcount change management Process
• Manage pensions, employee benefits, and interactions with insurance agencies- Strategically and operationally
• Payroll bookkeeping- Record payroll JEs, prepare relevant payroll accruals, and balance the payroll against the general ledger
• Implement and adapt the payroll to changes in regulations and policies
• Work as an integral part of the Accounting team and working closely with Human Resource teams on payroll topics
• Maintain a high degree of service and confidentiality
• Payroll focal point- Management advisory
• Ability to drive improvements and projects
  
  

• Requirements
• Certified Payroll Controller- Mandatory
• 7+ years of experience in preparing payroll processes- Mandatory
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel - Mandatory
• Deep knowledge of Israeli labor laws- Mandatory
• Experience working with “Hilan” - An advantage
• Experience with bookkeeping work – An advantage
• Experience with global companies in the High-Tech industry – A significant advantage
• High level of English proficiency (oral and written)
• Ability to prioritize duties effectively, meet deadlines, and cooperate with other team members to accomplish tasks
• Ability to work and solve issues with an independent, pro-active approach; escalate as necessary
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidence and demonstrate a high level of maturity
• Service oriented – with great interpersonal skills
