Software assets management

Location: Holon (Hybrid)

Job Description

• Manage software assets and licenses across the organization as well as client portfolios managed by the company.
• Develop and implement software asset management policies and procedures.
• Monitor software usage and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
• Conduct regular software audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Optimize software spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support procurement work negotiating with vendors for software contracts and renewals as well as supporting the contractual elements of such deals.
• Maintain accurate inventory of software assets and licenses.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams on software-related matters.
• Stay updated on software licensing models and industry trends.
• Provide reports on software asset utilization and compliance to management.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, business administration or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT asset management, with focus on software.
• Strong knowledge of software licensing models and compliance regulations.
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
• Proficiency in asset management tools and software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITAM (IT Asset Management) or software asset management certifications.
• Experience working in an IT service provider environment.
• Knowledge of cloud licensing models and SaaS management.
