Director of Business Operations

Responsibilities:

The Business Operations Director reports directly to the CEO and works closely with him on a wide range of business critical operations from cross-company communication to strategic initiatives, business analysis and ad-hoc problem solving. This role requires a highly experienced, skilled and sharp professional.

This role has 3 main responsibilities:

Communication

• Work closely with the CEO and develop compelling content and narratives for internal and external use (all-hands presentations, board meetings, external interviews and appearances, key meetings etc.).
• Partner with the leaders across the company to define, prepare and communicate organizational plans from quarterly planning to multi-year strategy.
• Prepare reports and presentations for shareholders.

Business Analysis and Research

• Analyze internal data and advise on strategy, identify potential areas for improvement.
• Research on external sources and benchmark against competitors to inform on strategy and drive business outcomes.

Project leadership and problem solving

• Oversee strategic business initiatives under the guidance of senior leadership.
• Define new operational strategies by working with CEO and other executives on special cross-company projects.
• Address ad-hoc issues that require the CEO’s attention, manage their resolution.
• Assist with integration between the different functions/departments

Requirements

• Analytical background – experience with business analysis or data science, you should be able to consume & process large quantities of data points and provide high quality business insights and recommendations – a must.
• Presentation expert – Powerpoint / Google Slides should be your 2nd language, converting complex messages in a simple and compelling way comes naturally to you – a must.
• At least 5 years of experience working in a technology company in an analytical/product or similar leadership role – a must.
• Excellent communication skills, English language.
• A force for driving change, quick to provide solutions and manage feedback. Accepts challenges and leads with positive energy.
