Analytical Chemist (Full-Time).

The Israel Plastics and Rubber Center (IPRC) is looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our research team as an Analytical Chemist/Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those with minimal experience in the field to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, including GPC, HPLC, LC/MS, and GC/MS, particularly in the area of polymers and plastics.

Position Location: Ramat Gan

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the operation and maintenance of GPC, HPLC, and GC/MS instrumentation.
• Participate in the analysis of various materials using assigned techniques.
• Learn to generate accurate and insightful data to support ongoing research projects.
• Collaborate effectively with experienced scientists and researchers.
• Help maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field (students nearing graduation are also encouraged to apply).
• Basic knowledge or academic experience in analytical techniques (GPC, HPLC, or GC/MS) is a plus, but not required.
• A strong desire to learn about material science and analytical methods.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
