Fermentation Technician- Student Position

Biomica is an emerging biopharmaceutical company developing innovative microbiome-based therapeutics for the treatment of immune-mediated and infectious diseases, with specific focus on Immuno-Oncology and GI related disorders.

Biomica is seeking for a fermentation technician to aid the discovery of novel therapeutics.

Job description:

- Develop and execute aerobic and anaerobic bacteria culturing methods in small and large scale

- Working in large scale using fermentors. The work includes all fermentation aspects: preparation, handling and running of the fermentor.

- Record data and summarize results.

- Working in a microbiology lab with a wide variety of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.

- Physical work with fermentors

Requirements:

· Sciences student (required).

· Technical skills.

· Availability for 2-3 times a week.
