Data Scientist

A stealth mode startup in the neurotechnology field has developed a technological interface for decoding brain activity, essentially building the next generation of human-machine interaction. They are pioneering breakthrough technology for interpreting brain activity, which is set to integrate into various aspects of life.

The company is nearing the closure of its Series A funding round, making it an excellent time to join. They are located in Tel Aviv near a train line and offer a hybrid work model. The team consists of 35 employees.

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct scientific-theoretical research and experimental studies in the field of neuroscience.
• Collaborate with another neuroscientist and leading experts in Deep Learning.
• Design and implement clinical experiments.
• Perform analyses and interpret results from models.
• Conduct research using AI methods and neural networks.
• Utilize Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow/Keras for working with diverse data, primarily signals.
• While a specific background in signal processing is not mandatory, a research background in Deep Learning/Neural Networks and scientific knowledge in relevant or related fields of neuroscience is essential.

Requirements-

● M.Sc. or Ph.D. in computational science (neuroscience, physics, biology, statistics, etc.)

● 3 years' experience in data science, working on neural network explainability and high-dimensional data

● Significant understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts

● Strong ability to perform data analysis Independently, including problem definition, state-of-the-art computational techniques, statistics and significance testing, and visualizations

● Experience analyzing neural or other physiological signals

● Superb verbal and written communication skills, especially with people from diverse disciplines
