Job Overview:

SolidCAM Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated Technical Engineer with experience in the CAM software market to join our team. This role involves providing technical support and expertise to our customers, ensuring they maximize the value of our software solutions. Your knowledge of CNC technology and understanding of the Japanese market will be essential in delivering exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support to customers, assisting them with software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of SolidCAM products.
• Customer Training: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate customers on the features and functionalities of SolidCAM software, empowering them to utilize the tools effectively.
• Solution Development: Collaborate with customers to develop customized solutions that address specific manufacturing challenges and improve operational efficiency.
• Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve technical issues by diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations.
• Feedback Collection: Gather and document customer feedback to identify areas for product improvement and communicate insights to the product development team.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting manuals, to support customer self-service and knowledge sharing.
• Industry Engagement: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to provide informed advice and recommendations to customers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, product development, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in CAM for CNC machines, with a strong understanding of CAM software and its applications in manufacturing.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of CNC technology, particularly in Milling or Turning, and experience as a CNC Programmer or Application Engineer.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew; proficiency in English is an advantage.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to resolve complex technical issues.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with SolidCAM or similar software (e.g. MasterCAM, Cimatron, HiperMill, GibbsCAM) is highly desirable.
• Travel: Willingness to travel frequently, both locally and internationally, as required by the nature of the fieldwork.
