Leading financial services company seeks a skilled Commission Accounting Manager to oversee and control all aspects of agent commission calculations and payments.

About the Role:

As a Commission Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of agent commission calculations and payments. This includes ensuring the accuracy of commission data, developing and implementing efficient processes, leading and mentoring a team of accounting professionals, and providing exceptional service to agents. You will also play a critical role in analyzing commission trends and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and controlling commission calculation and payment processes for agents.
• Overseeing financial reporting.
• Leading and mentoring a team of accounting professionals.
• Optimizing existing workflows and analyzing commission changes.
• Providing exceptional service and support to agents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in commission accounting within an insurance agency or company. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required Skills:

Advanced Excel Proficiency: Must be highly proficient in Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and formulas.

Financial Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, especially related to revenue recognition and commission calculations.
