Immunologist

Seeking a Ph.D immunologist for an up to three year post-doctoral position to work on a project related to the immunology of Multiple Myeloma.

More specifically, the successful candidate with be part of an interdisciplinary team working to apply advanced imaging technology to studying the initial interactions between myeloma cells and immune cells in the bone marrow, using an established murine model of early myeloma..

Responsibilities

Maintenance of myeloma cell lines; immune profiling of bone marrow cells; in vitro T cell functional assays.; collaboration with biophysicists; collaboration with and assisting other lab members working with the murine model; planning and execution of experiments, interpretation and presentation of data.

Qualifications

•  Ph.D in immunology or cell biology
• Experience in cell culture, cell maintenance
• Experience in immunological methods, especially T cell function
• Experience in workign with mouse models
