Chief of Staff & Head of Operations

We are seeking a Head of Operations & Chief of Staff to work hand-in-hand with the Movement’s CEO to build a world-class grassroots organization for change. From managing the day-to-day operations to driving the highest profile strategic initiatives, this is an amazing opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of civic organizing and change-making. This is a role with a high level of responsibility and impact - we’re looking for someone who wants to make a difference!

In this role, you will:

• Support the CEO in all aspects of her role, from managing stakeholder relationships to crafting communication strategy and from prioritizing and coordinating her schedule to driving mission-critical projects.
• Build the processes and policies that will allow the organization to grow.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the organization, including finance, facilities, logistics, HR, and more.
• Constantly seek efficiency and identify challenges (and solve them) as the organization grows and diversifies its efforts.
• Grow and support a team of motivated, talented activists.
• Own a broad portfolio of strategic projects across the entire range of the organization’s activities.
• Lead and organize fundraising efforts.
• Act as a key external-facing representative of Hitorerut to partners, donors, and other key players.

For this role, you should have:

• 2-5 years experience Operations, Project Management, Political Activism/Organizing, or related roles.
• Experience partnering with executives to support their vision and objectives.
• The ability and willingness to work at both the highest strategic and most tactical, hands-on levels.
• Strong alignment with the mission and objectives of the Hitorerut Movement.
• Fluent Hebrew and English (both spoken and written).
• Ability and willingness to work outside of normal business working hours, as needed (e.g. events, domestic travel, etc.).
