Senior DevOps Engineer- 3124

A global growing fintech SU company is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on AWS, with a particular focus on EKS and Fargate nodes.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments.

• Manage Kubernetes clusters using tools like Flux for GitOps, and ensure robust monitoring with Grafana and Thanos.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Drone, ensuring efficient and automated deployments.

• Deploy and manage service mesh technologies, particularly Istio, to secure and manage microservices communication.

• Implement distributed tracing and observability solutions using Jaeger and Grafana.

• Manage and optimize databases such as Clickhouse, Scylla, and DynamoDB for high-performance data storage and retrieval.

• Work with security tools like Cloudflare (including Cloudflare Access Tunnels) and Teleport to ensure infrastructure security.

• Utilize Bottlerocket OS and Distroless images to secure and optimize container workloads.

• Deploy and manage Dex for identity management and Temporal for workflow orchestration.

• Implement and manage distributed search and analytics engines like Elastic (Opensearch).

• Develop and manage gRPC services for high-performance communication between microservices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure and application performance.

• Provide on-call support as part of the DevOps team’s rotation to ensure the reliability and uptime of production systems.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong background in AWS and Kubernetes (EKS).

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code with Terraform.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Drone.

• Strong experience with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Thanos, and Jaeger.

• Expertise in service mesh technologies, especially Istio.

• Experience with managing databases like Clickhouse, Scylla, and DynamoDB.

• Familiarity with security practices, including Cloudflare and Teleport.

• Experience with Bottlerocket OS and Distroless images.

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and gRPC.

• Strong scripting and automation skills, with experience in tools like Flux for GitOps.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Temporal for workflow orchestration.

• Familiarity with Dex for identity management and Elastic (Opensearch) for search and analytics.
