Chief Executive Officer

About the Role: An innovative startup focused on revolutionizing financial technology solutions seeks a dynamic and visionary CEO to lead the company through its next phase of growth and success. Currently in the seed stage and backed by strong investors, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading B2B software startups, with significant experience in the fintech industry.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Vision:

• Lead the company with a strong, visionary approach, setting and communicating a clear strategy and vision for the company.
• Build and manage high-performance teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.

Strategic Development:

• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, and develop and implement strategic initiatives to achieve these goals.
• Ensure the development and execution of effective go-to-market strategies, particularly for B2B software solutions in the fintech sector.

Market Penetration and Expansion:

• Deeply understand the American market, including market dynamics, customer behavior, and regulatory environment.
• Successfully launched and scaled products or services in the US market, leveraging established connections with key stakeholders in the American financial and technology sectors.

Fundraising and Investor Relations:

• Lead fundraising efforts, successfully raising capital from investors and negotiating with venture capitalists.
• Work closely with the board of directors, providing strategic guidance and updates, and aligning company goals with board expectations.

Sales and Revenue Management:

• Own and drive revenue goals, developing and executing effective sales strategies.
• Lead sales teams, achieve or exceed revenue targets, and develop strong customer acquisition and relationship management strategies.

Operational Excellence:

• Oversee cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, ensuring cohesive and efficient execution of company strategies.
• Foster innovation, adapt to changing market conditions and drive continuous organizational improvement.

Requirements:

Professional Background:

• Proven track record in leading B2B software startups and significant financial technology industry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a startup from seed stage to significant milestones, ideally to a Series A raise of over $10M.
• Familiarity with financial data management systems and fraud prevention technologies.
• Relevant experience in product management and development, particularly within the fintech industry.
• Demonstrated B2B software go-to-market success in early-stage startups.

Managerial Experience:

• Strong leadership qualities with experience in building and managing high-performance teams in a startup environment.
• Ability to oversee all operations and business activities, ensuring they produce desired results and align with the overall strategy.
• Capability of setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth and leading strategic initiatives.

Market and Network Expertise:

• Deep understanding of the American market and successful experience in launching and scaling products or services in the US.
• Established connections with key stakeholders in the American financial and technology sectors.

Experience with Investors and Boards:

• Proven success in raising capital and negotiating with investors.
• Experience in working with boards of directors and providing strategic guidance.

Sales and Revenue Ownership:

• Demonstrated experience in driving revenue goals and leading sales teams.
• Expertise in customer acquisition strategies and building long-term partnerships.

Required Employment Experience:

• Previous experience as a CEO, COO, or CRO in a technology startup focused on scaling operations and driving growth.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster innovation and adaptability.
