Information Technology Infrastructure Manager

DefendSys Technologies is looking for a talented Information Technology Infrastructure Manager/ Head of IT / IT team manager

The Team Leader needs to have a solid technical background and skills, as well as leadership background to effectively support and drive success of our System Team.

Role definition and responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of: network administration, system administration, help desk support, and IT security functions

Ensure effective day to day handling of the team’s tickets queue and help the team with the handling where needed, manage day-to-day activities, set goals, and provide guidance.

Define and drive the technical vision for our projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Develop and implement IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency

Monitor team performance and drive continued achievement and improvement

Be a focal point of deep product knowledge for the team

Conduct regular assessments of the IT infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions

Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT management

Full time position at the company's offices in Netanya. (Near Sapir - Poleg train station)

Requirements

• Experience managing and leading a team of IT professionals (network administration, system administration, help desk support, and IT security functions)
• Course graduates (MCSA/MCITP/MCSE)
• Over 3 years of experience as a System Admin / Tier 2 level
• Experience working with infrastructure and servers (in a Windows environment)
• Experience with cloud systems: Office 365, Google Workspace, Jumpcloud
• Experience with information security infrastructures: Fortigate FW, SentinelOne, Checkpoint - an advantage
• Experience and work with communication infrastructures - Juniper, Aruba, Cisco - an advantage

This role requires the ability to prioritize and multitask, solve complex problems and manage incidents professionally as well as to inspire greatness and drive achievement of KPIs across the team
