Technical Writer

Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality that utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death.

Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe, and Israel.

Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, and other types of solid cancers.

As part of an effort to extend Novocure’s engineering department, we are looking for a Technical Writer, who will participate in the development process of the company’s products and tools.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating templates for variety of engineering document types.
• Producing Engineering documents required for all product design phases:
• Input/requirement documents
• Output/design documents
• V&V protocols and reports
• Test procedures/protocols for production
• Maintenance instruction documents
• User manuals
  

• Qualifications:
  
  

• Experience :
• At least 4 years of experience in document generation for R&D activities, preferred for medical device companies.
• Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Hebrew. Advantage for English native.
• Knowledge and experience in how to put the most difficult ideas in simple words.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and graphics tools .

• Ability to plan the documentation structure in advance, and be systematic with document structure.
• Team player capable of working in a multi-disciplinary environment involving hardware, software and mechanical engineers, V&V engineers, and QA/RA.
