Cyber Security Engineering Team Leader

We're looking for cyber security engineering team leader to join Global-e cyber security department. The engineering team leader will lead implementation, operation and optimization efforts of security tools and security related products.

The candidate must be passionate about cyber security and technology, and have extensive experience in hands-on operation of advanced security products.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, hire, and train the team including technical hands-on.
• The team leader will lead cyber security projects where the cyber team are the executer, and manage cyber related projects executed by the IT department.
• Master existing security products, improve and identify opportunities to enhance defense capabilities.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce technical and operational processes and procedures, improvement and maintenance program.
• Lead security remediation risk-based program
• Maintain the balance between security and operational efficiencies
• Have and maintain an expert knowledge of Infosec industry trends and developments and advise the CISO on changes to the threat landscape
• Identify and propose improvements to the organization’s security posture

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of proven experience in cyber security in hands-on roles.
• Proven experience as a team leader.
• Experience working in cloud-based infrastructure and thorough understanding of their specific security characteristics.
• Experience handling and investigating cyber incidents.
• Strong understanding of security architecture best practices, standards, and frameworks.
• Ability to handle complexity and multitasking

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving company environment
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
