Back End Developer

We are seeking a skilled team member with expertise in backend engineering, specializing in PostgreSQL, Docker, and API development. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in database management, containerization, and backend system design, with a strong ability to work independently and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services with a focus on scalability and performance.

- Build and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including complex query optimization and schema management.

- Implement and manage Docker containers for development and production environments.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to integrate with frontend systems and external services.

- Utilize Protocol Buffers (protobuf) for efficient data serialization and communication between services.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality software delivery.

- Lead efforts to troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the application stack.

- Document processes and provide clear technical guidance for the engineering team.

Requirements:

- At least 8 years of experience working with PostgreSQL in a production environment.

- 4+ years of experience with Docker, including container orchestration and management.

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.

- Familiarity with Protocol Buffers (protobuf) for data serialization.

- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Positive attitude and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.

- Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or Node.js).
