Job Title: Technical Procurement & Project Manager (part-time)

We are a stealth-mode start-up in vertical farming led by professionals with decades of experience in real estate development and agricultural innovation. We are seeking a Technical Procurement & Project Manager (part-time) to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to start part-time with potential growth to a full-time position as the project advances.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Equipment & Components Selection: Identify and select the most suitable equipment and components to meet customer needs.
• Manufacturer & Supplier Identification: Research and establish relationships with manufacturers globally, including regions like Israel, Turkey, the EU, and China.
• Obtaining Commercial Proposals: Expedite the process of gathering commercial proposals that align with project specifications.
• Technical Specifications Creation: Create and translate technical specifications for contracts between suppliers/manufacturers and customers.
• Commercial Proposals Review: Analyze proposals to ensure they meet customer requirements.
• Test Samples Management: Organize the ordering and testing of samples from potential suppliers.
• Contract Price Control: Verify and justify initial contract pricing.
• Documentation Management: Develop, adjust, and update design and operational documents in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assembly Control: Oversee the assembly process, ensuring it aligns with project documentation, and address any issues that arise.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Agricultural Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in selecting and purchasing equipment for plant cultivation in enclosed spaces.
• Skills: Proficiency in photobiology, photosynthesis principles, and plant-growing equipment specifics. Strong experience with international suppliers, pricing principles, and documentation management. Fluency in Hebrew and English is essential, with Russian being a plus.
• Software: Proficiency in CAD systems (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), project management tools (MS Project), and office applications (MS Office, Google Workspace).
• Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a multitasking environment.
