For a growing startup in the feild of IoT and sensor technologies we are looking for a Vice President of Business Development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Spearhead efforts to establish and engage with key business partners.
- Formulate and drive the company’s strategy for partnerships and business growth.
- Identify and approach potential technology vendors, creating a systematic funnel for partnerships.
- Cultivate strong relationships both within the organization and across the industry; represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Craft and implement the Go-To-Market strategy to accelerate market entry and expansion.
- Conduct thorough research to identify and assess new business opportunities.
- Focus on identifying and connecting with critical industry stakeholders to generate new leads.
- Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Contribute to defining the marketing strategy and enhancing the company’s global brand presence.
- Seek out and develop strategic partnership opportunities.
- Maintain and expand existing business relationships to ensure ongoing success.
- Create and execute impactful business development strategies to drive overall growth.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic partnerships, technology alliances, and business development.
- A proven record of achieving measurable sales and business development targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and succeed in complex, enterprise-level sales processes, with the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong analytical skills with a history of developing and implementing successful business models.
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a focus on delivering value to stakeholders through innovative solutions.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with a history of successfully closing high-value deals.
- Organized approach to developing and maintaining customer-focused sales processes.
- Fluent in professional English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- MSc in Business, Marketing, or related field; or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in working with 5G, WiFi, and sensor technologies.
