Experimented Physicist or Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview

Are you a talented engineer or physicist passionate about modeling and simulations? Join our team at IARD Sensing Solutions Ltd., a national leader in radiometric measurements and electro-optical simulations. We are looking for a highly skilled individual to develop and validate approximate thermal models of various platforms and of physical phenomena in space, air, sea, and land environments. These models will be used to predict electro-optical signatures for cutting-edge applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and validate models to predict electro-optical signatures by simulating heat and mass transfer, viscous/compressible, and reactive flows.

- Perform model validation using radiometric measurements in field conditions, ground facilities, and through literature comparison.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate predictions and integrate models into broader systems.

- Proficiency in programming in MATLAB or PYTHON and potentially CFD tools.

- Contribute to both defense and civilian research and applied projects.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Engineering or Exact Sciences from a recognized university in Israel or abroad.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in heat transfer modeling and physical simulations.

- Strong understanding of heat and mass transfer principles.

- Basic knowledge of electro-optics and its applications.

- Proficiency in MATLAB or PYTHON programming.

- Familiarity with CFD simulation tools is a plus.

- Eligible for security clearance.
