One of our clients, a leading high-tech company (250~ employees), is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In this role, you will join the executive team to drive operational excellence and execute the company's strategic vision. You will manage key areas such as R&D, Product, Customer Operations, Operation, Delivery, and Security, ensuring efficient service delivery, strong customer support, and innovative product development. Additionally, you will oversee the company’s operations and collaborate with other executives to scale the organization globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of products and services that align with the company’s strategic goals. Implement and optimize processes to drive efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership team to develop and execute the company’s strategic plan. Lead the development of operational strategies that support long-term growth, profitability, and the company’s expansion into new markets.
• Infrastructure for Scale and Global Expansion: Manage and scale the company’s global operations, including the establishment of international delivery and support teams. Ensure consistent global standards and practices, supporting the company's global growth initiatives.
• Leadership and Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing, diverse, global team of professionals. Provide guidance and support to ensure team productivity, professional growth, and a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation, delivering business value, and customer success.
• B2B Enterprise Expertise: Drive the operational execution of the company’s B2B strategies, ensuring the successful delivery of software products tailored to large enterprise clients
• Financial Management: Work closely with the CFO to manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to make data-driven decisions that drive continuous improvement and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
• Customer Success & Compliance: Ensure the company's products and services meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Oversee customer support functions to guarantee customer satisfaction, retention and regulatory adherence.
• Technology & Product Development: Ensure the Product and R&D organizations have aligned operational processes that lead to a market-leading, high performing, product that includes the products and features required to meet customer needs and industry standards
• Business Intelligence & Reporting: Lead the development and implementation of business intelligence strategies to provide actionable insights for decision-making. Establish and track performance measurements to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Provide regular reports to the board on operational achievements, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a ‘build’ COO / CEO in a similar senior operations role within the technology or fintech sectors.
• Extensive experience managing R&D, Product, Delivery, and Support teams, with a strong understanding of SaaS business models and cloud-based solutions.
• Strong B2B software product experience
• In-depth understanding of SaaS business models, including subscription and cloud-based technologies.
• Deep understanding of FinTech business models, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
• Demonstrated success in managing and scaling global operations and teams, including leading groups of approximately 100-200 people.
• Strong business acumen, financial management skills, and experience working with budgets and forecasts.
• Proven ability to work alongside sales and marketing executives to ensure the company continues to deliver on its growth plans.
