Position: Plant Tissue Culture Specialist

We are seeking a Plant Tissue Culture Specialist to join our growing team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to grow within the company and contribute to the transition of innovative R&D processes into production. Reporting directly to the VP of Process Development. This role will gradually take responsibility for the smooth transfer of lab-based activities to production, working closely with R&D, production teams, and senior staff.

This is a junior-level role with significant growth potential for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Assist in the transition of R&D processes from the lab to production, ensuring protocols are scalable and efficient.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, including R&D and production.
• Support plant tissue culture experiments and help optimize laboratory processes.
• Implement new techniques and solutions while troubleshooting challenges in plant tissue culture.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and compliance within the laboratory.
• Contribute to improving workflows and processes as the company scales up production.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Plant Science, Biotechnology, Biology, or a related field.
• Experience in plant tissue culture is a significant advantage.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and a proactive approach.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
