SecOps Engineer

Startup company enabling academic institutions to stay connected with their alumni and promote collaborations, job placements, donations, business matters, and mentorship – primarily operating in the USA.

The company has 400 clients, mainly universities abroad.

The office is located in the Sharon area, with two work-from-home days per week.

Role Overview:

• Leading security monitoring for all of the products, from Vision to execution.
• Providing technology solutions for keeping the suite of products secured.
• Planning and designing SOC strategies and SIEM architectures for the platform.
• Designing and developing security solutions for customer security.

Requirements-

• 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly within SecOps, in startups, hyperscalers,
• or the high-tech industry around early detection and early response to advanced cyber
• threats covering endpoint, web, email, API and cloud attack vectors.
• In-depth knowledge of security automation, coding/scripting for security applications,
• incident response protocols and procedures, threat intelligence, and familiarity with
• standards such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, SOC2, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to forge deep technical and strategic relationships with senior
• executives, business owners, and key decision-makers.
• Proficiency with modern cybersecurity tools, platforms, standards, guidelines and practices.
• Experience working with AWS specific cyber security tools
• Excellent English (written and verbal)
• Self-motivated and passionate attitude
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities
