Python Developer

An Israeli American startup company is developing a ChatGPT solution for DevOps, creating technology based on LLM that acts as a "virtual team member" within the DevOps team. It can be communicated with in "everyday language," interacts with organizational systems, and performs actions accordingly.

The company has paying customers and expects significant growth in the coming year. They have secured $10 million in Seed funding.

The company is located in central Israel, near the train station, and offers two work-from-home days per week. The company consists of 15 employees, mostly R&D professionals.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the Core Backend team responsible for managing a complex, multi-cloud, hybrid SaaS infrastructure that supports global production workloads and operates distributed Kubernetes clusters.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of distributed systems design, including the interactions between cloud technology layers and components, basic dependencies at scale, and the infrastructure-defining code.
• Develop in-depth technical expertise across the product's architecture, code, features, operations, and full usage scenarios to drive continuous improvements.
• Contribute to the foundational aspects and architecture of the product by sharing knowledge and code, consistently seeking ways to enhance the utility for various teams and products.
• Exhibit comprehensive expertise in distributed systems design and the interactions between different layers of cloud technology

Requirements-

• 4 years technical experience in software engineering OR bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field in addition to + years technical experience in software engineering.
• Experience in working with any database (relational/non-relational) and modeling entities.
• Experience in initiating and leading complex projects and feature development across multiple teams.
