DevOps Engineer

Skybox Security provides the most powerful risk analytics for cybersecurity, giving security management and operations the tools they need to eliminate attack vectors and safeguard business data and services. 

We are looking for a motivated, professional, delivery driven DevOps engineer – to join the expanding DevOps team.

The position includes owning processes and tasks from start to delivery, supporting R&D teams for Development pipeline using existing and new tools.

Our Environment is highly automated and requires bringing together a wide variety of tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Jira, Git, Cloud services tools (AWS and more), Docker, and others open source tools to continuously build and test a complex product developed in Java, Python, Angular and more.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, automate and maintain the CI/CD processes
• Apply, integrate and improve open-source tools to extend development lifecycle, capabilities, and efficiency
• Work closely with the Dev teams and automation engineers to collaborate on initiatives and improve their efficiency.
• Deploy, automate and maintain the company’s SaaS offering
• Development of the company's custom Linux distribution
  
  

 Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience as DevOps engineer
• Success with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Experience administrating Source Control (Gitlab/GitHub)
• Deep knowledge with Jenkins and its best practices
• Scripting and other interpreted languages (Bash, Groovy, Python, etc.)
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud
• Good understanding and knowledge of IaC (Terraform)
• Deep knowledge with Docker and Docker orchestration (Docker, Docker compose, ECS, K8s, DockerD, ETC)
• Experience with Java and Maven – A big advantage.
• Experience with Artifacts management (Nexus) - Advantage
• Advanced security knowledge – Advantage
• At least 2+ years of Linux administration (Ubuntu) – Advantage
