Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior GCP Expert at Wizards, focused on designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure

solutions for our clients. This is a hands-on role with responsibilities including:

• Designing and architecting robust, scalable, and secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructures.
• Meeting with clients to understand their GCP requirements from both management and technical perspectives.
• Developing and presenting cloud architecture designs and recommendations.
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless integration with cloud-based systems.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing, particularly within the GCP ecosystem.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing system performance as needed.

While most tasks can be performed remotely or at our office, the role also requires visiting client locations as needed. Our offices are located in Azor.

Qualifications

Expert level skills in the following areas:

1. Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture design and implementation.
2. Cloud security and compliance.
3. Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools, including Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Public Cloud environments, with a strong focus on GCP.
• Technical expertise: Wide technical background and experience with industry best practices, standards, and conventions.
• Project ownership: Ability to own projects end-to-end, from design to execution.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
• Soft skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Writing skills: Ability to write clear, concise technical documents.
• Personal attributes: Reliable, organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Preferred Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Architect Certification (GCPA) is a plus.
