Technical Writer

Novocure is a global medical device company with R&D based in Haifa. The company is growing quickly as it commercializes TTFields therapy: a novel treatment for aggressive cancers using alternating electric fields.

As part of an effort to extend Novocure’s engineering department, we are looking for a technical writer, who will participate in the development process of the company’s products and tools. 

Responsibilities

• Creating templates for variety of engineering document types.
• Producing Engineering documents required for all product design phases:

-  Input/requirement documents

-  Output/design documents

-  V&V protocols and reports

-  Test procedures/protocols for production

-  Maintenance instruction documents

-  User manuals.

Qualifications and Experience

• BSc in engineering / computer science, or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience in document generation for R&D activities, preferred for medical device companies.
• Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and Hebrew. Advantage for English native.
• Knowledge and experience in how to put the most difficult ideas in simple words.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and graphics tools.

Skills

• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
• Ability to plan the documentation structure in advanced, and be systematic with document structure.
• Team player capable working in a multi-disciplinary environment involving hardware, software and mechanical engineers, V&V engineers and QA/RA.
