Reports To: VP Commercial operation.
Position Summary:
The Launch Coordinator will assist the VP of Commercial Operations in planning, coordinating, and executing the launch of new pharmaceutical products. One of the key responsibilities of this role is to create and maintain a comprehensive Gantt chart that tracks the status of all the company's products. This role requires close collaboration with various departments, including marketing, regulatory affairs, finance, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure timely and successful product launches. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
Launch Planning and Execution:
• Develop and manage comprehensive launch plans for new products and maintain the status of already
launched products.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the launch are aligned and executed on time.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet launch goals.
• Lead project management efforts for product launches, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Utilize project management tools and techniques to track progress and manage resources effectively.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles to the launch.
• Work closely with marketing, regulatory, manufacturing, sales, finance, supply chain and other departments to
ensure seamless coordination and communication.
• Facilitate regular meetings and updates to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
• Work with Gantt charts and computerized reporting system (CRM).
• Collaborate with regulatory affairs to secure necessary approvals and clearances.
• Support the sales and marketing teams during the pre-launch and launch phases.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of new product launches.
• Generate post-launch reports and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Business, Marketing).
• Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product launch management within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful product launches.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
