Chief Technology Officer

An emerging and innovative SaaS startup based in Tel Aviv is seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive our technological strategy and lead the development of our breakthrough platform. We are building a sophisticated solution that is poised to transform the industry, and we need a leader who can elevate our technology to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy & Leadership: Define and drive the technology roadmap, aligning it with the company’s vision and business objectives. Provide both strategic and hands-on leadership across software development, platform architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
• Platform Engineering: Oversee the end-to-end design, development, and scaling of our AI-powered SaaS platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a growing team of engineers, data scientists, and developers, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Product Development: Work closely with the product management team to integrate technical innovations into the product roadmap, ensuring that platform capabilities meet evolving market needs.
• Operational Excellence: Implement best practices in software development processes, including agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and code quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
• Proven experience building scalable SaaS platforms, with deep knowledge in AI/ML, data engineering, and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on expertise with technologies such as Python, Node.js, React, and cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• In-depth understanding of modern DevOps practices, microservices architecture, and API-driven development.
• Leadership & Management:
• 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and scale technical teams, fostering innovation and driving results.
• Strong experience in project management, from planning and execution to delivery and post-launch support.
• Business Acumen:
• Solid understanding of SaaS business models and the ability to translate technical capabilities into market-leading product offerings.
• Experience collaborating with business leaders to align technology strategy with market demand.
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
