Project Engineer

Solargik is looking for a Project Engineer to join our growing team!

As a project engineer at Solargik, you will play a critical role as the technical POC coordinating the implementation of Solargik’s solar tracker solutions in projects around the world according to relevant standars, best engineering practice and clients requirements. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and professionals to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and according to specifications. This role demands a strong technical background, great communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

What will YOU do?

• Be responsible for managing multiple projects design simultaneously.
• Take the project from contract signature to completing the design package for supply and construction, ensuring that the design meets all technical and contractual requirements.
• Be a technical point of contact between the client and Solargik project design team.
• Collaborate with project managers, electrical, mechanical, structural and electronic engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements and objectives are met.
• Design, develop, and implement engineering solutions for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, best practice, and regulations.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing structures, systems, and infrastructure to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and review detailed documentation for supply and construction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during project lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to incorporate them into project designs.

What will YOU bring with you?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.).
• 2+ years experience managing end to end multidisciplinary infrastructure projects design and/ or construction.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and construction methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Effective communication and interpersonal ability to understand different stakeholders (internal and external)
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work in various environments as needed.
• Hebrew and English – very good written and spoken skills.
• Self-driven, dedicated person with ability to work and learn on their own in a high-speed environment.
• Team player and ability to work in matrix structure.

• Proficiency in engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT, SolidWorks, or others as applicable to the field.
