Vice President Data (Relocation to Poland)

We are helping one of our clients – one of the leaders in live service mobile gaming in search for VP of Data (Global). The client company’s passion is for creating exceptional player experiences and developing engaging games that attract millions of users worldwide.

We are searching for a seasoned VP Data professional to join the company and be responsible for all strategic data-driven decisions; to shape, lead and manage all data-related matters, and to contribute to future company’s growth through strategy and strong day to day execution of our vision.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and implement Data Strategy: Create & implement a data strategy that makes live data accessible and actionable across the company; act as an advisor on all Data - related aspects and be a part of the core strategic decision making team.
• Be responsible for the Data eco-system in the company to boost data-usage and bring extra value for the business.
• Act as the subject matter expert for data insights in the leadership team. Ensure high data literacy and data-driven decision making across the organization.
• Lead and coach a team of around 20 BI, BA, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists distributed across multiple countries.
• Act as an internal advisor and bring best practices in data analysis, engineering, and infrastructure.

We are looking for a professional with:

• 7+ years of experience in similar positions in online/marketing/big data environments
• 4+ years of experience in managing and growing geographically distributed teams
• 6+ years experience in Data management/ Data science/ ML
• 4+ y of experience in data architecture, SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), programming languages (e.g., Python, R), and technologies like DataBricks and Scala.
• Strong strategic mindset, willing to spot new business opportunities through complex data and to turn them into actionable insights
• Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to influence and inspire at all levels
• Willing to relocate to Warsaw, Poland - MUST
