Dynamics Lab, led by Dr. Ron Shnapp at Ben-Gurion University, is seeking highly motivated

Ph.D. and M.Sc. students to join our team for an exciting ISF-funded scientific project.

About the Project: Our project focuses on the fundamental aspects of turbulent multiphase flows

and on the collision dynamics of particles embedded within the flow. This research is pivotal for

understanding cloud formation, rain initiation, and various ecological processes in marine

environments. We will utilize state-of-the-art 3D flow reconstruction with high-speed cameras and

advanced computer vision tools to explore these phenomena.

+ What We Offer:

- Innovative Research Environment: Work with cutting-edge experimental techniques,

including 3D-Particle Tracking (3D-PTV), Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), Laser Induced

Fluorescence (LIF), and digital image analysis.

- Strong Background: Mechanical engineering/physics, experimental methods, and

mathematical modeling.

- Programming Skills: Knowledge in programming is a strong advantage.
