Company Description

Drone-Lander is a privately-owned startup company located in Centre District, Israel, that was established in 2022. The company is developing essential components for the future drone market, utilizing smart materials, mechanics, electromechanics, and software, among other technologies. We recently completed our first financing round and are accelerating our activity to complete our first-generation product development.

Drone Lander Product

Drone Lander develops a multidisciplinary robotic product that incorporates a variety of technologies (HW, SW, Mechanical, integration of COTS products, Materials, Chemistry, wired and wireless communication technologies, Algorithms, AI). The SW includes embedded components, UI/UX, Logic, real time, algorithm implementation, incorporation of open-source platforms, operating systems, etc.

Responsibilities

·        SW architecture design.

·        SW design and project planning.

·        Lead and guide of software developers through the project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

·        Project Management: Oversee all stages of project development from concept to deployment, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.

·        Code Review and Quality Assurance: Ensure coding standards are met and implement quality assurance practices to maintain high software quality.

·        Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other teams (HW development, System engineering, Algorithms, Materials and chemistry), to define project requirements and ensure alignment with tasks, schedules, internal integrations and efforts coordination.

·        Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies and provide technical guidance and support to the team.

·        Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions to complex problems.

·        Resource Management: Manage team resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization.

Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and foster professional growth and development within the team.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Strong technical background in software development, strong understanding of software development methodologies and lifecycle.

·        Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. A proven track record in managing successful multidisciplinary software projects from architectural design to product delivery and maintenance.

·        Proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies relevant to the company’s projects with hands on capabilities (C, C++, Python)

·        Experience in multidisciplinary system development (complex systems that includes SW components as part of the overall system)

·        Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
