Data Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer to be a part of a research team working on video CCTV and IOT equipment, who is passionate about handling data and willing to make a big impact on homeland security.

Job Description:

• Establishing data pipelines for acquiring, processing, and storing large volumes of data, working on OCP Eco-system.
• Integrate diverse data sources (structured and unstructured) into a unified data platform.
• Develop complex data algorithms using various data sources and data types.
• Develop and implement data quality processes.
• BI - Planned and executed data visualizations to monitor and acquire new insights from data.
• A combination of data engineering, data analysis, and visual intelligence while creating end-to-end data solutions for clients & colleagues.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in data processing and data algorithms.
• Vast understanding of database systems and languages such as SQL, and Python.
• Familiarity with the OSI model, networking communication, and protocols.
• Motivated individual with the ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desired Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in networking communication traffic analysis.
• Familiarity with OCP infrastructures.
• Experience with containers and K8 technology, CI-CD pipelines.
