Machine Learning Engineer

A high-tech company in the Data Analytics field has developed AI-based technology and intelligent algorithms that enable app owners to reach the most relevant user audience by predicting interest in real-time and analyzing data at a massive scale.

Located in Tel Aviv near a train station, the company offers a hybrid work model with two days of remote work and currently has 75 employees.

The role is part of a newly established team under the CTO, focusing on AI innovation.

It involves challenging engineering work on AI models in the field of recommendation systems, without theoretical research.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing ML/DL models, including Pipelines.
• Working closely with the Data Science (DS) team.
• Handling deployment to production.
• Ensuring models are scalable.

The work environment includes:

• AWS and Big Data.
• Coding in Python with Airflow and MLflow.
• Working on GPUs to accelerate model performance.
• Dealing with both tabular and textual data.

Requirements-

• 5 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer
• Strong experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in a production environment.
• Construct and maintain data pipelines for model training and serving.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, preferably AWS.
• Experience in recommendations, ad-tech, or highly imbalanced data.
• Experience with Embeddings - an advantage
• Experience with real-time inference - an advantage
• Experience with GPU - an advantage
