Accounts Payable Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify invoice completeness and accuracy.
• Matching invoice to PO
• Process invoices to the appropriate GL accounts with full compliance following VAT requirements.
• Maintain Vendor reconciliations.
• Preparation and process of payments
• Address vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Review and process employee expense reports, complying with company policies.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, coordinating with the agencies if required.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes and resolve discrepancies before closing periods.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Preparation and summation of statutory reports, such as VAT and Tax and social security payments
  
  

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable, reconciliation, or any related accounting role.
• Certified Bookkeeping diploma Type 3 / Senior Bookkeeping Diploma, A bachelor’s degree will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (V look-up and Pivot Tables)
• Fluent in English with the ability to write and read.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software, Priority will be an advantage.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with good interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
