Billing and Collection Manager

We are seeking an experienced Billing and Collection Manager to manage our billing and collection team mainly to oversee processes, collections, automation and accounts receivable management. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of financial software applications, specifically NetSuite, Zuora, and Stripe, to ensure accurate and efficient billing and collections operations.

Resposibilities:

• Billing Management
• Oversee the entire billing cycle, including invoice generation, payment processing, and reconciliation.
• Ensure billing is accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies and regulations.
• Collections Management:
• Develop and implement effective collection strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables.
• Manage collections team, providing coaching and support to achieve performance goals.
• Software Expertise:
• Utilize NetSuite for financial reporting and analysis of accounts receivable.
• Leverage Zuora for subscription management and billing automation.
• Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable metrics and collection activities to senior management.
• Identify trends in billing and collections to enhance processes and improve controls and performance.
• Customer Service:
• Act as a liaison between the finance department, customer facing teams and customers to resolve billing inquiries and disputes promptly.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage timely payments.
• Compliance & Controls:
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining accuracy in financial records.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience ( 5+ years) in billing, collections and accounts receivable management.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and metrics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in NetSuite, Zuora & Stripe is an advantage.
