Job Opportunity: Senior AI/ML Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML engineer to take a leading role in designing and implementing cutting-edge Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions. This position involves working closely with clients and internal teams to develop innovative models and proofs of concept, with a focus on driving impactful results for businesses through advanced AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Expertise: Serve as a leader and subject matter expert within the Data Science team, guiding the design and development of Generative AI and ML use cases and solutions.
• Innovation: Build and deploy innovative AI/ML models and proofs of concept (POCs) in collaboration with clients.
• Business Integration: Work closely with business leaders to ensure that AI/ML outputs have a maximum impact, acting as a trusted and influential contributor.
• Business Development: Engage with partners and clients to identify new opportunities and develop a catalog of future AI/ML use cases.
• Research and Innovation: Support a long-term research agenda aimed at solving critical business challenges through AI/ML innovations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external teams to identify AI/ML solutions that meet business needs, supporting the pre-sales cycle and prospecting opportunities.
• Presentation and Documentation: Present results to stakeholders, prepare patents and white papers, and represent the organization at conferences.
• Data Strategy: Collaborate with customers to implement new data strategies across various platforms, ensuring alignment with business and IT requirements.
• Hands-On Development: Actively participate in the end-to-end development process, from data research to creating AI/ML models and algorithms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (Ph.D. is an advantage).
• 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning or Generative AI.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience deploying machine learning models in production environments with a proven track record.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience in Data Science frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, Keras, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Expertise in Generative AI and Large Language Models, including prompt engineering, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) models, fine-tuning, quality evaluation, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience with Big Data systems, ETL processes, and SQL.
• Strong analytical storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex results to business stakeholders effectively.
• Customer-facing skills, with experience in presenting solutions and driving discussions in customer environments.
• Experience in leading Data Science/Analyst teams is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies in research and analytics contexts is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Cloud ML platforms and telecommunications (BSS, billing, Telco) is an advantage.
