System Administrator

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our dynamic System team. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations across various platforms and environments.

What You'll Do

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure at company headquarters
• Oversee daily support operations for networking, virtualization, storage, and backup systems
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures
• Support the development team by providing necessary IT resources
• Develop strategies to enhance system availability and performance
• Support Linux, Windows, and cloud environments
• Improve and implement IT procedures
• Manage cloud resources, including G Suite and Office 365
• Provide in-house support for infrastructure hardware and software
• Oversee computer configuration procurement
• Manage company computers, including version control and vulnerability monitoring
  
  

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Linux system administration
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Windows system administration
• Minimum 2 years of experience with virtualization technologies (VMware)
• Strong knowledge of networking and security (Firewalls, Switches, VLANs)
• Excellent process management capabilities and ability to multitask effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset
• Robust problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
  
  

• Familiarity with backup products and strategies
• Technical knowledge of big data environments (Cloudera Data Platform)
• Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, k8s, Rancher)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure management (Azure, AWS)
