Senior Full Stack Developer

CheckNet is looking for a front-end / full stack developer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will work collaboratively

with product managers, designers and back-end developers to

build responsive and user-friendly web applications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our SaaS platform using modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build user-friendly and scalable solutions.
• Work within an autonomous team of developers in an agile environment to achieve business goals
• Contribute to the overall design, architecture, development, code quality, and production environment deployment of your team.
• Take an active role in defining the shape of the future of our unique SaaS product.
• Shape the development paradigm, capacity & scalability of our platform
• Build an AI service combining off the shelf solutions with our own ML/AI

What you need to bring with you:

·         BSc in Computer Science/Computer Engineering - Must

·         At least 2 years as a full-stack developer in a fast-paced R&D environment with the ability to develop features end-to-end

·         2+ years of experience in Python development

·         2+ years with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular) along with proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

·         PHP - Significant advantage 

·         Strong proficiency in Django web framework

·         Extensive experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL

·         Solid understanding of Redis for caching and session management

·         Experience working with cloud services - AWS

·         Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Great if you can also bring:

·         Prompt engineering - working with AI APIs

·         Experience with LLM and AI training

·         Experience with React - an advantage

·         Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git

·         Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation

·         Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker or other containerization / orchestration technologies
