Subsidiaries Financial Controller

Position Description

Full responsibility for the financial management, financial control, and financial reporting of several subsidiaries within the Group. The role includes full month-end and quarter-end closing processes, reporting to the parent company, supervision of financial processes, and implementation and application of International Financial Reporting Standards. The position requires close collaboration with the management teams of the subsidiaries and active support in the preparation of the Group’s consolidated financial statements.

·        Full end-to-end monthly and quarterly accounting close processes

·        Preparation of detailed financial reporting packages for the parent company

·        Support in cash flow management activities in coordination with Group headquarters

·        Control, monitoring, and management of payments to suppliers

·        Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, internal control reviews, profitability analyses, and variance analyses

·        Responsibility for inventory accounting, deferred tax calculations, and implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards, with a specific focus on International Financial Reporting Standard 16 – Leases

·        Ongoing work with external auditors during annual statutory audits and periodic financial reviews

·        Financial and operational support to the management teams of the subsidiaries

·        Continuous improvement of financial processes, procedures, and internal controls

·        Certified Public Accountant

·        Graduate of a Big Four accounting firm following internship

·        At least two years of post-internship professional experience

·        Previous experience in at least one role as a Financial Controller or Assistant Financial Controller

·        Experience in an industrial or manufacturing company – a significant advantage

·        High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning systems

·        Strong analytical abilities, high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
