VP R&D

Startup Company in the Blockchain/Crypto field that has developed a WEB3 financial management platform for all types of businesses, from small companies to enterprises. The platform enables all types of financial operations, including digital asset management, in one secure and user-friendly place.

Located in central Israel, about a 5-minute walk from a train station, the company has 22 employees and offers one remote workday per week.

The company was founded by an experienced entrepreneur who has successfully launched several companies. They are fully bootstrapped, do not rely on investor funds, and have paying, profitable customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the R&D team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.

• Develop and execute the R&D strategy, aligning it with the company's overall goals and objectives.

• Manage R&D budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new products and technologies.

• Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including CI/CD methodologies.

• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other teams to ensure successful product delivery.

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies and identify opportunities for innovation.

Requirements-

• 2+ years as a VP of R&D in a startup environment, managing R&D teams of more than 8 developers

• 7+ years of experience in full stack development

• 2+ years of experience in NodeJS + TypeScript

• Experience with Agile methodologies

• Extensive experience with SaaS platforms and CI/CD methodologies - Advantage

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker - Advantage

• Deep understanding in crypto

• Strong background in handling large-scale traffic, data, and complex architecture.

• Familiarity with cloud technology and services such as GCP

• Excellent leadership and strategic thinking skills

• Strong decision-making abilities

• High-level education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
