The Roles Include

• Supporting the development teams, and knowledge in designing the database architecture.
• Experience in high availability and disaster recovery methods.
• Monitoring, Performance Tuning and Auditing capabilities.
• Supporting all the aspects of multiple databases, including server maintenance and data security.
• Resolving problems and contacting the technical support if necessary.
• Planning and implementing data uploads and data synchronization between systems.

Experience, Skills and requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in computer sciences and/or a veteran from an elite technological unit (IDF) – An advantage.
• Excellent scripting skills using T-SQL for automation and administrative tasks.
• Expertise in installing, configuring, and maintaining MS SQL Server 2014 and above.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimization using tools such as SQL Server Profiler and Database Engine Tuning Advisor.
• Solid knowledge of database security principles and hands-on experience implementing security measures, including user access management and data encryption.
• Experience in designing and implementing backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability and disaster recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve database-related issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or similar certification.
• Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, such as database mirroring, log shipping, and Always On availability groups.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database services, such as Microsoft Azure SQL Database or Amazon RDS for SQL Server.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management tasks.
• Knowledge and experience ETL tools SSIS or ELK - An advantage.
