Information Systems Developer - Maternity leave

The Information Systems Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations solutions that facilitate seamless data flow between various systems, including Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), Polarion, SharePoint, and others. This role involves designing and implementing integration solutions to meet business needs, ensuring optimal system performance and security, and providing user support and training. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with these platforms and related technologies.

What your job will look like:

• Develop, integrate, and maintain solutions across Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), Polarion, SharePoint, and other systems to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
• Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring optimal operation across all integrated platforms.
• Implement and enforce security policies, permissions, and compliance standards within all relevant systems.
• Design and develop scripts and automation solutions using tools like Python, PowerShell, and web technologies (e.g., REST APIs, JSON).
• Integrate enterprise systems with each other and third-party applications based on business needs.
• Create and maintain sophisticated (script-based) reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues related to the systems under your purview.
• Conduct training sessions and create comprehensive documentation on system functionalities, best practices, and new features.
• Assist in the migration of content and configurations from other platforms to the relevant systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop solutions that align with business objectives.
• Stay current with the latest features, updates, and best practices related to the systems you manage.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in developing and integrating enterprise systems.
• Proven experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), Polarion, SharePoint, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, JavaScript and PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (REST APIs, JSON, XML, Web services) and their application in system integration.
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and data modeling.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Atlassian Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer) are an advantage.
