Field Agronomist

A startup company that develops advanced crop protection products is seeking an agronomist to expand the agricultural team.

Requirements

·        B.Sc (M.Sc an advantage) in Agronomy/Environmental sciences\Microbiology.

·        At least 5 years’ experience that include plant protection.

·        Knowledge and understanding of fundamental concepts in toxicology, with respect of agriculture.

·        Lab experience in plants, microbiology and molecular biology.

·        Knowledge and understanding of planning laboratory and field experiments.

·        Knowledge and understanding of implementing statistical models and procedures with respect to toxicology and plant protection.

·        Experience working with regulatory agencies – an advantage.

·        Languages: Hebrew, English - excellent verbal and writing skills; Spanish/Portuguese would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

·        Writing experiment protocols, reports including statistical analyses.

·        Setup experiments according to company plans and as respond to occasional requests.

·        Trial monitoring. data acquisition and analysis, writing final reports.

·        Reporting to direct manager, head of R & D, and CEO.

·        Initiating and supporting the relationships with international entities, CRO’s, regulatory agents, advisors and distributors.

·        The job involves lab and field work.

·        The job includes occasional traveling abroad.

·        ידע והבנה במושגי יסוד בטוקסיקולוגיה בעיקר בהיבטים חקלאיים.  

·        ניסיון בעבודת מעבדה צמח, ביולוגיה-מולקולארית ומיקרוביולוגיה

·        ידע וניסיון בתכנון ניסויי מעבדה ושדה

·        ידע במודלים סטטיסטיים הקשורים בהגנת הצומח, טוקסיקולוגיה.

·        ניסיון בעבודה מול גורמי רגולציה - יתרון

·        שפות: אנגלית (קריאה, כתיבה, דיבור ברמה גבוהה), ספרדית\פורטוגזית - יתרון

·        דיווח למנהל ישיר, מנהל פיתוח, מנכ"ל.

·        יצירה וקיום קשרים עם גורמים בין לאומיים CRO’s , גורמי רגולציה, חברות הפצה.

·        המשרה כוללת שילוב של עבודת מעבדה ושטח
