Tenure-track or tenured faculty position in Statistics

Responsibilities

The Department of Statistics and Operations Research, Tel Aviv University invites applicants for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position in Statistics. The rank of an appointment will depend on the applicant’s background. Candidates must hold a PhD degree in Statistics or a related area and demonstrate a very strong research record. The department encourages people from all areas of statistics to apply, but is especially interested in the theory, methodology, and computational aspects related to statistical learning, data science and the analysis of big data. Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to research and teaching. They are expected to conduct active research, to develop and teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level and to supervise PhD and MSc students.  

Availability of a position is subject to university approval.
