Supply Chain and Purchasing Lead

Supply Chain and Purchasing Lead (hands-on position) for a biotech company

The Supply Chain and Purchasing Lead will oversee all supply chain activities, including logistics, procurement, inventory management, and supplier relations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute logistical strategies for manufacturing and lab supplies.

- Manage inventories of raw materials, final goods, and lab materials, ensuring accuracy and alignment with forecasts.

- Oversee warehouse operations and continuous improvement of supply chain performance.

- Mitigate supply chain risks, address supplier issues, and maintain strong supplier relationships.

- Ensure timely and accurate movement of materials and final goods.

- Support manufacturing readiness by ensuring material availability and compliance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

- 5+ years of experience in supply chain roles in biotech / medical / chemistry industries

- Experience with manufacturing supply chains and QA processes

- Proficient in Priority and Excel

- Experience in warehouse management

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

- Excellent communication skills in English
