Full Stack Engineer

A top-tier global hedge fund with a strong commitment to technology and data science, this private investment firm manages over $60 billion and is one of the most successful international hedge funds in the world!

The role is part of the Risk Tech group, responsible for calculating the risk aspect of each investment.

The team is based in London and New York, and they are looking for their first developer to be based in Israel.

Development in Python & Angular.

The company has around 5,000 employees globally, with 50 based in Israel. The office is located in Ramat Gan (near a train line) and offers one work-from-home day. The Israel site is entirely focused on fintech, working with the most advanced technologies, and provides a real opportunity to influence the product.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using AngularJS and FastAPI.
• Implement asynchronous programming workflows to enhance application performance and scalability.
• Translate UX designs into functional AngularJS components.
• Identify and create reusable code packages.
• Document development phases and monitor systems.

Quantitative Development:

• Develop Python scripts and tools for quantitative analysis and modeling.
• Collaborate with quant teams to understand and implement their requirements.
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and upstream internal data providers.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience working with AngularJS
• 2 years of experience working with Python (FastAPI, Pandas, Numpy or similar)
• Bachelor's degree (BE/ Btech) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of synchronous and asynchronous programming and their applications.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in both written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Knowledge in Math and statistics.
