Process Development Engineer

About the Role: In our applications laboratory, we develop material processing processes using the company's laser for our customers and for new, advanced products developed at Civan. The process development engineer is responsible for conducting the experiments required for process development . The position requires full-time work in the company's site in Jerusalem.

Job Description:

• Leading the development of welding processes for various customers, using Civan's laser
• Full responsibility for operating the laser welding laboratory and conducting experiments
• Performing analysis and writing reports
• Working in a multidisciplinary team to adapt solutions for different customers
• Job Requirements:
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields from a recognized academic institution - preference for an M.Sc.
• At least 3 years of experience in process development in industry - required.
• Proven ability to lead development, from planning through execution to writing a scientific summary - required.
• Team player
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to independently learn scientific material - required.
• Dedication and commitment - willingness to work overtime.
• Fluency in English
• Experience and knowledge in welding - an advantage.
• Experience in laser welding - an advantage.
